    Travellers tales

All Over Australia - A Story from Robert Matthews, Aberdeen, Scotland.
From Robert Matthews in Scotland - Crocodile Dundee and Duty Free
    From: ROBERT R MATTHEWS leroca@lineone.net
Subject: Crocodile Dundee and Duty Free
On browsing your entry for Adelaide River in the Northern Territory I didn't see any mention of Charlie, the huge buffalo which features in the Crocodile Dundee film. Is he still there? We found him behind an outdoor restaurant whichwas selling the finest barramundi fish suppers (as recommended by the locals) in Australia. It certainly lived up to its reputation! The location is easily found. Just ask the first person you see!

P.S. ONE OTHER TIP FOR INTENDING OZ-BOUND TRAVELLERS - IF YOU ARE BUYING DUTY-FREE GOODS , YOU CAN PURCHASE THEM ON YOUR ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY AND PERTH. THEY ARE A LOT CHEAPER THAN WHEN DEPARTING THE U.K.

    YOURS, BOB MATTHEWS.

We welcome your comments, advice, suggestions, recommendations and even your horror stories. Every story in Travellers Tales has been carefully checked. There are, as far as we can determine, no attempts at free publicity from proprietors masquerading as happy travelers.

If you have a tale to tell send us an email and we'll let others know about your experiences.
